DC resistance testers are core instruments in electrical testing, widely used for DC resistance measurement of power transformers, high-voltage switches, motor windings and instrument transformers, and demand continues to grow as electrification spreads across industries.
In other industries the applications are even broader — resistance testing of very long cables in the wire and cable industry, contact resistance measurement of connectors in the battery industry, and measurement of PCB traces and plated-through-hole resistance in electronics manufacturing.
The AT2515 DC resistance tester developed by Onmeas Precision Instruments, an upgraded successor to the AT515, provides a complete solution for these industries and other testing needs. Its exceptionally wide measurement range covers both ultra-low resistances such as wire and weld resistance and high resistance values up to 1.2 GΩ. A multi-bin comparator is built in, so manufacturers can quickly set up production lines and complete sorting efficiently, while ultra-fast testing greatly shortens the inspection stage of production.
The AT2515 offers multiple interfaces and professional sorting functions for automatic sorting systems and fully automated production line testing; RS-232/RS-485/LAN/USB communication interfaces and a USB flash drive interface are available for convenient data communication and remote control from a PC.
